Hardscaping Project: Laytonsville Front Porch & Walkway Stone Veneer

Pro Landscapes MD transformed a traditional brick front porch and walkway into an elegant, eye-catching entryway for this Laytonsville home. The customer sought to enhance the curb appeal of their property with a stylish stone veneer overlay, and after careful consultation, we designed a custom solution using high-quality flagstone and a complementary stone border.

Project Overview:

The existing brick porch and walkway were upgraded with a thermal full-color Pennsylvania flagstone veneer. To achieve a seamless and level transition to the driveway, the first few feet of the walkway were removed, and a new concrete base was poured. This provided a solid foundation for the flagstone, ensuring a stable, even surface.

Our Solution:

• Pennsylvania Flagstone Veneer: The porch and walkway were dressed with thermal full-color pattern cut Pennsylvania flagstone, giving the entryway a sophisticated, timeless look.
• Dove Gray Veneer for Step Risers: The step risers were wrapped in a dove gray thin stone veneer, adding contrast and elegance to the design.
• Thermal Blue Border: A thermal blue border was installed around the edges of the front porch, framing the space beautifully and tying the design together.
• Brick Removal and Power Washing: The initial brick section of the walkway was jackhammered and removed to allow for a level surface, while the remaining brick was power washed to ensure a clean base for the veneer installation.
